Flux is a GitOps tool for Kubernetes that keeps clusters in sync with configuration stored in Git. It was originally created by Weaveworks.

Timeline

  1. Assess Added to radar

    At Enabler, we use both Flux and ArgoCD with great success. For platforms where a web GUI isn't needed and you prefer using the command line and APIs, Flux is an excellent choice.

    Weaveworks unfortunately closed its doors earlier in 2024. Hopefully, the project will continue to thrive now that Controlplane has started backing it.
